Who Are We
The Painted Path is a clothing line created by Painted Brain, a peer-led mental health nonprofit organization. A peer is someone with lived experience of mental health challenges and/or substance use. By openly sharing their journeys, peers inspire hope, foster connection, and help guide others along their own paths toward wellness and recovery. Their stories are powerful reminders that healing is possible—and that no one has to walk that path alone.
Every design from The Painted Path is created with intention, rooted in the voices and lived experiences of our community. Each piece represents resilience, creativity, and the transformative power of storytelling.
This collection is produced by local vendors in Los Angeles, reflecting our commitment to uplifting ethical causes and supporting creative communities.

COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH FOR ALL
For nearly 20 years, Painted Brain has created safe, welcoming spaces for connection, healing, and growth.
We combine peer support, clinical services, and wellness programs to care for the whole person, supporting Medi-Cal initiatives like Enhanced Care Management and Community Health Workers. We also train future professionals through our Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist program.
Our team of licensed clinicians, certified peers, and community leaders empowers individuals through creativity, connection, and purpose—using art, advocacy, and social enterprise to close gaps in mental health care and strengthen communities.
